  • Program Description

The Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Leadership is an advanced professional doctoral program designed to strengthen the theological reflection, leadership capacity, and ministry effectiveness of experienced pastors and church leaders. It integrates biblical-theological scholarship, socio-pastoral leadership, psycho-spiritual formation, and cultural-hermeneutical engagement to address complex challenges in contemporary church and mission contexts.

  • Learning Outcomes

Biblical-Theological Competence:
Demonstrate advanced theological reflection that informs pastoral leadership, preaching,
and ministry practice.

Socio-Pastoral Competence:
Exercise strategic and transformative leadership in guiding congregations and ministry organizations.
Psycho-Spiritual Competence:
Model mature spiritual formation and provide pastoral guidance that nurtures the holistic
well-being of church communities.

Cultural-Hermeneutical Competence:
Critically interpret ministry contexts and develop culturally responsive strategies for mission
and church leadership.

  • What To Expect?

Classes will be hybrid with an onsite and online component. Onsite classes can be scheduled
with two modules back-to-back, continuing with online sessions about 2-3 weeks later. Each course
is credited for 3 units.

  • Who Can Apply?

Pastors and church workers who have:
1. Completed an M.Div degree and accumulated 5 years of full-time ministry.
2. Alternatively, completed an M.A. degree and accumulated 7 years of full-time ministry.
3. Applicants must also submit a Research Paper as evidence of academic ability.
4. For applicants from the CAMACOP, a recommendation from your DMS is needed.
